Complete the online form and be sure to remember your password!
STEP 2: Download Pocket Voice Recorder
- Click on "Download Software for Windows" underneath the RecordPad option.
- Install the program on your computer.
STEP 3: Make a test recording in RecordPad
- Record your voice for a short clip. Practice reading a few sentences from the text.
- Find the saved file on your computer.
STEP 4: Upload your recording to Podomatic
- Go to your Podomatic page that you created in Step 1 above.
- Click on the "My Podcast" link
- Click on "Post New Episode" below the main tabs
- Click on "Upload media from your computer"
- Click on the "Browse" button and find your file, click "OK"
- Click on "Upload Media", then close window when uploaded
- Title your Episode "Test" or something creative
- Click on "Next Step"
- If you'd like to add a picture, please do so. Otherwise, click on "Next Step"
- Click on "Next Step" again
- Click on "Post Episode"
- On the Success page, click on "Get the word out and tell people about your new episode"
STEP 5: Embed your podcast on your blog
- Click on "Embed a Player on Your Web Page"
- Copy the text in the "Embed code" box
- Click on the "Edit HTML" tab in your blog posting box
- Paste the code and then return to the "Compose" tab
You should see something like this:
CONGRATULATIONS! You have successfully posted a podcast on your blog!
